Choir

The CDFM Choir is composed of treble, alto, tenor and bass vocally trained church members. The recognition that the choir has received has provided them with the opportunity to proclaim the gospel through music to people. The choir has produced choral scholars who have gone on to Celebrating the cultural diversity in the church, a wide variety of music is ministered at CDFM, ranging from African-Caribbean-American songs to traditional hymns to in-house composed songs. Vocal training is on Fridays 6-8pm and choir practice is on Saturdays 1-3pm.

Men of Focus

The men’s department (known as the “Men of Focus”) and the women’s department (known as the “Women of Inspiration”) aim to help men and women respectively mature in all areas of their life by offering them mentoring relationships where they can grow and learn about their gifts. Both departments are managed by great men and women of God who teach on how to live as godly people, support each other and have long lasting relationships.

Women of Inspiration

The ushering department is a sub-department of the Protocol Department at CDFM and it is more than just serving the congregation but instead serving God. The CDFM ushers ensure that an orderly and welcoming atmosphere is maintained before, during, and after the service. Along the ministers, they are the first and last at church, they usher the congregation to their seats and gather the offerings. We value the hard work of our ushers as they ensure that a spirit of worship is created. The CDFM ushers are vital to visitors’ first impression of the church and as a result all of our ushers are trained to be humble, diligent, caring and above all God-fearing.

Media Department

The media team is arguably one of the most important departments in the church. Contrary to popular beliefs, it is a department that requires not so much your technical ability to run technology but instead using digital equipment to accomplish vision, creativity and community to proclaim the gospel. The department consists of the most part church members who joined the department with little or no knowledge and experience of IT, technology and

media who have been trained by the department leaders. It is a department where you are guaranteed to learn and use your newly acquired skills to glorify God’s name.

Youth Department

Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders. Here at CDFM, we believe that this generation of youth is the generation that will take this world back for the Kingdom of Heaven. We study the lives of men and women in the Bible, watch and listen to Men and Women of God speak on youth related topics and go on trips and excursions to uphold the bond within the department. The youth department is open to anyone from the age of twelve.

Children's Department

The CDFM children’s church is a place where kids love to come week after week. Parents can enjoy the adult services and be certain that their children are receiving personal care in a safe and nurturing environment. The teachers create a positive church experience that introduces children to a love for Jesus. Children’s church coincides with all of our services.

Drama Team

Here at CDFM, we believe that drama is one of the most powerful ways of communicating the gospel. Comprised of church members, the drama team minister short skits or full plays to minister God’s words through the theatrical medium.

The CDFM drama department allow people to get involved in church in a special way. We strive to provide people with an experience with God to emphasise and compliment biblical messages. The drama department adds a new element to the church service providing another medium to teach and hear the gospel. Our purpose is to serve God through the interpretation and declaration of his words.

Evangelical Team

The CDFM evangelism team is made up of church members with a goal to preach the gospel beyond the walls of the church building.

They minister to both Christian and non-Christians and encourage them to surrender their lives and become devoted follower of God.

By sharing their own and someone else’s story about their walk in Christ, they seek to help people build their own authentic relationship with God.
