Everyone created by God has a great potential to succeed in life, because of the great destiny that God had for humanity right from the beginning of days. There is already a throne prepared for you from the foundation of the world. You only need to discover it and walk your way into it.
We have been given dominion right from the beginning:
“Then God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the birds of the air, and over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over everything that moves on the earth” (Gen 1:28).
Faithfulness and integrity
God revealed to Joseph in a vision that he would become a king. By human standards he was absolutely nobody; he was second to the last born of the family in a culture where seniority counts. But Joseph worked his way up to the throne by his faithfulness to God and man.
Joseph served as a servant to Potiphar, a very rich officer in Pharaoh’s service. And because of his trustworthiness he was put in charge of Potiphar’s household.
Potiphar knew little or nothing about Joseph’s ordained throne, but Joseph’s faithfulness to God sought him out. Even when his master’s wife tried to seduce him, he resisted her advances and fled.
Joseph’s integrity at first did not favour him; instead it earned him imprisonment for an offence he did not commit. But at the end, because he maintained his integrity, God lifted him from the dungeon to his ordained throne.
God is taking notice of you
Let us look also look at David's ascension to his ordained throne. Saul was rejected as Israel’s king because he could not maintain his integrity in the presence of God. God then instructed Prophet Samuel to enthrone one of Jesse’s sons. Samuel nearly made a wrong choice when he looked at Eliab the eldest son of Jesse, and said, “Surely the Lord’s anointed is before Him". But the Lord who looks at the heart, not at man's outward appearance, rejected Eliab.
After the seventh man was made to pass before Samuel and God chose none of them, Samuel asked, are these all your sons? Then he said,
“There remains yet the youngest, and there he is keeping the sheep”.
David was under-estimated even by his father, but thanks be to God who gave Samuel no rest until David was brought to him for the fulfillment of God’s ordained plan for his life.
Your right to the throne
Everyone that is born of God through Jesus Christ has a right to the throne. The King of kings and Lord of lords is the ultimate from whom our kingship is derived as we are joint-heirs with him (Romans 8:17).
Apostle John says,
"Christ has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen” (Rev. 1:6).
God has crowned you with the crown of glory and honour to reign, to rule, to dominate and to govern. The enemy will not dethrone you in Jesus’ name. Guard jealously your ordained throne.
